Friday evening was finally here! Daphne was ready to relax after an adventurous week being an entrepreneur. As she was about to snuggle on the couch with her blanket to watch The Explorers' Club, Mom walked in with a HUGE basket overflowing with laundry.
"Daphne, honey," Mom said with a smile, "want to earn an extra dollar? I could really use a super helper to fold the laundry."
Daphne glanced at the laundry basket—a MOUNTAIN of clothes! Folding laundry didn't sound fun but earning a dollar sure did! Hmm, a whole dollar... But The Explorers' Club is my favorite show... She bit her lip, picturing Alice and Zed uncovering ancient ruins as they navigated the rain forest. Then she pictured herself buried under a pile of shirts and socks. Ugh, what to do?
