A Children's Book about Creative Problem-Solving, Money Management, and Entrepreneurship

This is a wonderful book in which young Daphne is taking her first steps as an entrepreneur. There are tough choices to make at each step, each of which leads to different outcomes. While this is a children's book, the ideas and questions that it raises strike at the heart of what it means to be an entrepreneur, providing a fertile ground for a discussion for readers and listeners of all ages.

"Ten Dollar Adventure" was a lot of fun for the whole family! We read and played along together with our daughter by casting the web book to our television. Our daughter kept wanting to play and try all the various choices.

Loved it! More fun than What Would Danny do!! Kiddos celebrated all their choices and my daughter was too excited to wait for me to finish reading to make her choice and calculate the dollars left.

My son did have a lot of fun with the book. In his first run, he was interested in making the most money, but I was able to prompt him with some more challenges - like "How can you be 'most kind'" or "How can you lose more money". I really like the concept.

The book was wonderful, my grandson made all the decisions by himself and was very savings-minded. He ended up with $16 - $10 at the end! He made lemonade, helped with the dog washing, and made, in my opinion, smart decisions throughout!
